Learn How to Make a Difference!  

We are excited to announce that our new online Responsible Mobility course is now available! This course is available to ALL dealership employeesThe English version of the course will be launching on June 1st, and the French version will follow on June 30th 

Getting started:

If you do not have access to the HUB, please reach out to your local Dealer Development Manager to get started. If you do have access to the HUB, please follow these simple steps for self-enrollment:

  • Login to the HUB and click on My Distinction Learning located in the menu on the left-hand side.
  • Click on the ‘Catalog’ tile and select the ‘LGM Distinction’ folder.
  • Adjust your preferred language (English or French).
  • Find the Responsible Mobility course, click ‘Enroll’ and then click ‘Start’.
  • You can now access the course via ‘My Courses’ from the My Distinction Learning homepage.

About the course:

This course explores the concept of Responsible Mobility – an automotive movement that seeks to innovate and drive positive changes in the industry. It takes a holistic view of the dealership to illustrate how sales, service, and the Financial Services Office (FSO) can make a difference in the lives of consumers, the communities in which they operate, and society at large. The course is packed with helpful tips, interesting statistics, and other engaging elements to provide an interactive learning experience that is enjoyable and rewarding! For example, did you know that 75% of consumers will take some negative action if they believe a company is not responsible (National Survey on Corporate Social Responsibility).

In this course, dealership employees will learn: 

  • The terms Responsible Mobility, Responsible Company, and Responsible Individual and how your dealership can make a difference in society. Factoid: Responsible Companies outperformed other companies by 206% in the stock market between 2006 and 2016! (Social Purpose Institute)
  • The definition of a Social Purpose and how it can benefit the reputation, profitability, and growth of your dealership.
  • Emerging practices for Responsible Selling and how to become your customer’s Trusted Advisor.
  • An overview of auto industry regulations and how best to represent regulated products for optimized results.
