Appearance Protection is now available with SecureDrive!
We’re pleased to announce some exciting news about our SecureDrive suite of products! Starting October 4th , the suite is extending to welcome our brand-new Appearance Protection product. The program will help SecureDrive’s consumers preserve the natural beauty of their car by providing them with a wide range of service options at competitive prices.
Key features of the new program
The new program includes the following core benefits:
- Key and keyless remote exchange
- Minor dent removal
- Interior protection
- Front windshield repair
- Head and tail light repair
- Tire and wheel repair
- Car rental benefit
In addition to these services, consumers will be able to choose from the following optional upgrades:
- Front windshield upgrade: Exchange of up to one (1) front windshield for the lifetime of the contract
- Tire and wheel upgrade: Replacement of tires and/or wheels damaged due to road hazards that cannot be repaired. This upgrade is available for either conventional or run-flat tires.
This optional upgrade comes with a benefit limit of $5,000 per term or vehicle value if lower. - Roadside assistance upgrade: including towing, winching, jump start, flat tire changes, vehicle fuel delivery (one claim per year maximum), lock out service (one claim per year maximum), concierge service.
This optional upgrade comes with a benefit limit of $175 per event.
Standalone coverage: Tire and Wheel Protection is available as standalone coverage. This option provides customers with tire and wheel repair, as well as curb scuff repair and rental benefit.
In addition to these services, consumers will be able to choose from the following optional upgrades:
- Roadside assistance
- Tire and wheel upgrade
Additional benefits of the program for your customers
- Aggregate limit: The aggregate limit for the Appearance Protection product is the value of the vehicle.
- 30-Day money back guarantee: Customers can cancel SecureDrive Appearance Protection for a full refund within 30 days of contract purchase date.
- No Deductible: No deductible will apply during the contract term for any covered benefits, unless the vehicle is used for light commercial use.
- Transferable options: SecureDrive Appearance Protection contract can be transferred to another private purchaser.
Maximum markup
The program allows you to make up to a maximum of $2,250 of markup, depending on the selected coverage features.
Supporting document
Supporting documents such as highlight sheets, Selling Dealer Guide and marketing collaterals will be available in Hub sales tools as of October 1st.
