Important compliance update: Selling to AB, BC and SK residents
We wanted to inform you of an important update to the sale of the below products to customers residing in Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan:
- SecureDrive Mechanical Breakdown Protection
From September 6, 2024, contracts can only be sold to these customers by dealers located in the customer’s home province, to ensure compliance with the relevant provincial regulator. In other words, the customer’s province and the selling dealer’s province must match in the HUB for the product to be available for sale in the system.
Please note, all contracts previously sold will continue to be honoured and claims under those contracts will be processed in the normal course. This change applies to future sales to Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan residents only.
