New validation in Quick Quote – valid phone number and email address now mandatory

In order to pursue our effort to provide ongoing support to our dealerships, a great customer experience for the contract holder and meet our regulatory requirements, LGM will be introducing a validation step for all phone numbers and email addresses entered in QuickQuote.

Beginning December 8th in the morning, a valid phone number and a valid email address will be required in order to finalize a sale. However, these contact information fields will not be required to save a quote.

The main goal of this validation will be to ensure that LGM is able to contact customers in the future in order to send them mandatory documents when needed or to inform them of any changes related to their contract. We are not requesting email addresses for marketing purposes.

You can share this information with your customers if they need re-assurance. This will help ensuring that contact information provided are valid. Also, please note that if a customer does not have their own email address, they can provide the best email address to contact them at, whether it belongs to a family member or a friend.

The validation will be done by a third party provider who may sometimes consider a valid phone number or email address as not valid. In these few occurrences, you will be able to use the following contact information:

  • Phone number: 604-676-3882
  • Email address: noemail@lgm.ca

Please confirm with your customers that the contact information they provided is accurate before using the above contact information. They should only be used when the system is not recognizing a valid phone number or email address.

Please contact your Dealer Development Manager if you have any questions regarding this Hub update.
